About Emily Renda & Associates
Before we get to me, let me ask you a question…Have you ever felt like this?
I’m already so busy…
• making art
• meeting with clients
• developing products
…that I have no time to organize my meals, much less
organize my whole business!
Yes? Well, I’m happy to say that you’re in the right place.
Despite what it looks like online, no one can run an organized business on their own.
No successful business owner is buried in the bookkeeping, email automation, and [insert annoying task here] on a day-to-day basis. But they don’t turn a blind eye to it either.
Here’s what they actually do: they use systems so they can get back to the product design, art, or client meetings that were the point of their business in the first place!
That’s where I come in.

My Name’s Emily Renda
I’m an inclusive operations strategist, and I mean that in every sense of the word.
My business practices are based on equity and inclusion, environmentalism, and anti-corporatism. Read more about my core business ethics and values below.
As for how I support your day-to-day operations? That’s inclusive, too: while most operations strategists focus on a single area, I work with you to create smooth systems for your whole business, from your client experience to your inbox.
The result is that you save countless hours of time and boredom, and you have more energy to do what got you into business in the first place.
What are you passionate about, Emily?
I thought that question might come up!
My family is the most important thing to me in life. I have a wonderful husband, Korey, and two sweet, rambunctious dogs named Pinky and Tywin.
I am passionate about community and service to others. I am currently serving as Secretary on the San Diego Made Non-profit Organization Board; an organization serving local artists and promoting the arts and entrepreneurship in San Diego. I also serve on the Membership Committee for Business for Good San Diego and volunteer every month for Creative Mornings San Diego.

My first client was Lauren, a friend, and life coach. We started with a vision of working together and co-building her business, and it was a success! Systems thinking + inclusive practices + operations was a winner. For clients and her business alike.
But by mid-2021, I realized there were so many entrepreneurs going it alone who needed my help. It was time for me to start working with more of them.
That’s where you come in.
Your business isn’t just about profit—it’s also born of passion. Whether you make ceramics, offer coaching and courses, or sell eco-friendly yoga mats (all examples of real past clients!), here’s my promise to you:
I’ll help your business run smoothly so that you’re free to spend less time on backend operations and more time increasing your positive impact.
